These are examples of wall hangings, baby quilts, and other quilted pieces.

Quilts/PrimaryMola.jpg
Primary Mola

This baby quilt was made for my cousin's Sarah's new addition, bug. (Or at least, that's what I'm calling it until we know gender and it has name.)

Quilt: A Wing and a Prayer
A Wing and a Prayer

This wall hanging is based on the work of collage artist Sharon McCartney. It was the first piece I did that integrated two quilted pieces with grommets.

Mom Would've Loved Andy

Mom Would've Liked Andy was my first wall hanging. The face (my mom) was altered in Photoshop and transferred to the fabric with oil pastel. It was then hand-quilted.

Melpomene

Melpomene was created after taking a workshop with Penny Sisto. I would highly recommend you visit Sisto's site: www.pennysisto.com/.

Quilts/FlanneryQuilt.jpg
Saint Flannery

Saint Flannery was painted on fabric. Her halo is produced with yellow thread and alphabet brads to suggest typewriter keys. She is the first in my heroine series.

Dragonfly Dance

Dragonfly Dance is hand painted and hand quilted.

Gypsy a la Penny Sisto

Gypsy a la Penny Sisto is another portrait created after the workshop with Penny Sisto.

Quilts/GeorgiaMM.jpg
Georgia on My Mind

Georgia was drawn on hand-painted muslin. Her mini-quilts are all photos I took near my home that were transferred to fabric.

Fiber art, wearables and other curiosities.
